Greg Briggs, BA, CLU
I began my career in 1983 and enjoyed roles both as a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager with a large insurance based firm until 1994 when I moved to the independent channel of the industry. I earned my Economics degree from McMaster University, and in 1999 achieved the designation “Chartered Life Underwriter” after an extensive multi-year program covering all areas of insurance, estate and tax planning. I also regularly attend industry conferences and courses to ensure my knowledge remains current in all areas of my practice. One thing I learned long ago is that I can’t know everything there is to know about financial planning. That’s where the support of IPC comes in. By combining my knowledge gleaned over a 35 year plus career with the resources of the IPC network you can count on the fact that any financial priorities you bring to me will receive the highest level of knowledge and attention to detail. I also “take care of” my community. Through numerous leadership roles in North Bay community organizations since moving here in 1993 I have participated extensively in community fundraising for key sports and health facilities.
